Tnank you so much for another great tutorial, will try this one for sure! I have been struggling drawing animals for years until my friend, who teaches veterinarians, gave me this tip: draw a simplified bone structure first, then the muscle on top. A very light pencil sketch with pelvis, shoulder blades, knees etc as stick-figure underneath has helped me lots in understanding the animals body and improved my drawing instantly 😃

Good morning Paul. Thank you for your wonderful tutorial. It's cloudy and chili here in Lake Villa, Illinois. Our squirrels are gathering all of the flower bulbs getting ready for winter. I was walking my westie in the park early in the morning and a whole family of deer came through. It was such a beautiful sight. Of course it was a sniff fest! Thank you and stay well.

Mauvember could DEFINITELY catch on! What a wonderful, creative idea! Being a very literal thinker, I struggle with creative interpretation of a subject. If I do something and post it on an art forum, I will credit her idea. Purple is my (and many others) favorite color. (For the suggestion box, it would be great to see a video collaboration with Margot's lovely work.) Since I live in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania, the buck is my fave part. (Although in a few weeks, he will be on someone's dinner table in this region.) We see white tailed deer daily in our neighborhood, and Jerry saw an eight point buck a few days ago.
