I just recently started using Magicavoxel, and your tutorials have been really helpful for learning the program and how to make nice looking scenes, keep it up!

MandleBulb shader doesn't works....how to sort that?

Let me summarize how to make nature texture: Use a height map to convert a mountain, select the mountain to copy and paste, then random gradient colours on it and delete some voxels, at last cover the copy on the mountain. Is it right?

yes pretty much

By the way, what version of MV are you using now? I can't seem to add tags for the color palettes.

Hi, im kinda new to magicavoxel, there's something i'd like to ask. So the thing goes like so, if i were to make a terrain using worldpainter and import into magicavoxel, the next step would be adding colours right? Will i really have to color it voxel by voxel slowly or are there any other ways that i can do it faster??? With the different leveling for the terrains, coloring is really time consuming tho, welp

The quickest way to colour and add texture to a large scene like this (especially when colouring mountains) is to use the 'random' function. Artchanny shows this at 1:27 of the video. He's using it in a different way, but the same can be done for colouring anything. I assume the mountain you have imported is completely grey and all one colour. 1. You create a selection of colours (green/brown etc.) 2. highlight the object you want to colour (in your case, an entire mountain) using the region select tool 3. in the colour palette, click and drag over the colours you want to use for the mountain 4. right click on any of these highlighted colours and select 'rand' in the dropdown menu This will completely colour your entire selection with whatever colours you've chosen. Or if you want to manually paint the mountain quickly, you can increase the size of the voxel brush so that you're colouring multiple voxel blocks at a time instead of just one, which would be very time consuming. I could've explained this better but just ask me if you have any questions

I don't notice anything wrong with his audio quality

I usually download his video then amplify its audio 12-16dbs for comfortable listening at normal speaker volume using Audacity (this gets tricky if he inserts music like in his City building tutorial, but doable with Split Track tool). Export then rejoin to video using FFMPEG to avoid re-compression. I do this to his tutorials, generally took 2-3 mins per video.
