My favorite rooting video thus far. I have watch several. I have paid for a PDF tutorial, still I couldn’t figure out how to. So thank you for the LONG version I do not mind at all. Great job Jackie. Wish you could do private lessons in person that would be awesome. I just started reborning and my hair painting sucks. Hope rooting will be better. SERIOUSLY THANK YOU!!!! Blessings to you and Stephanie. 🌹

“Rooting” is used differently in Australia. It’s not used in an appropriate way. Sounds so weird when I hear that word. Awesome video, your the best example on how to put hair on a baby doll. I’m going to use this method for sure. I’m making my own baby sculpture so I can make a silicone baby. Thanks for uploading this video. Your a life saver. 😁

Wow this has got to be the best ive seen so far as to colouring and rooting on a silicone doll. You make it look so easy rooting with the fork needle and only root one hair at a time too, mmm the dreaded fork needle, if only I could get on with these. A great job I must say.

Help please…this message is so important. For starters I wanted to refresh on how to root babies and I watch y’all all the time and when I looked up rooting you came up first. This video must be fate. Let me start with telling you my name and my situation. I’m Angel from MN, I bought a silicone about a year ago from a very good friend of mine that he got about six years ago and I absolutely just fell in love with her. She was my very first silicone baby. She had some issues with peeling so I decided to paint her but instead of stripping the paint and starting over I wanted to save the beautiful art she had and just go over the peeling but it did take a lot of paint and it kind of bubbled from too much paint so I decided to start all over, strip her like you’re supposed to and repaint her even though I know she would lose that beautiful art but anyways as I was stripping her a lot of her silicone got ruined, many times I almost threw her away but I’m so in love with her, as I continue to try to keep going it just got worse and I was just devastated. I continue to take all the paint off and just tried to fix her with silicone but she is just ruined! When you guys did this Giveaway for that adorable little boy from ivita Stephanie was talking about the Amazon babies and how good they were and I just wanted a little girl so bad so I ordered one and she is very beautiful just not my Octavia but I decided I wanted to give her hair and so I had to look up videos to refresh and you were the first video that came up and this baby. I watched the entire video and to my surprise At the very end when you were showing her she was that exact baby (of course a copy of it) but the replica of mine I ruined 😢 I couldn’t believe it!!! I never dreamed or believed I would ever be able to get that baby again but seeing this video, I have some hope. I believe you were saying that you were rooting for the actual artist of that baby, is that correct? If so, I do know this is a very old video but do you have any information on this artist of that baby you rooted, because I would like to contact her and ask her if there’s anyway she could make me that exact baby if she still has the mold. I still am in shock and can’t believe that is my beautiful little Octavia, well you know what I mean, The same baby that I owned and I would give anything to get her back if she still had that mold because the one I have is just ruined. I have cried for months over this and no other baby can replace her except for her even if she has to be another one but still her. If you know the artist please could I get the information? Thanks so much for reading all this and thanks for sharing this video. You are very talented. I just cannot believe that there might be a chance I could get my baby back..I do believe in miracles! My husband has tried so hard to help me cheer up and tell me that he will find me a great baby girl one day but Octavia can not be replaced unless it was that same baby and I’m sure you can understand that. I pray with your help that maybe you know this artist to that baby in this video, I may be able to get my baby back just a new one. Please help is you can sweetheart!! I have not been the same since this incident…I’m so unhappy 🙁 thanks again and God bless you and your wife. Here’s the video on my baby and the booboos I did! This will show you that I do have the same baby! Thanks again. Any help will be greatly appreciated hun kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmbPiKejd7dsmLc

Just a thought, would it be easier to wrap the baby in one of those snuggle wrap thingies while you were tooting her to keep the hair off her body?? Just thinking that that would be easier to clean all the little hair clippings off her and easier clean up. I don't work with silicone so I don't really know if this is a helpful idea or not. Just a thought. Beautiful rooting!!!!

For silicone baby, what size and kind of needles you use? It's my first time rooting and I use Heavenly Illusions! Somebody told me that they are too fine and that's the reason that in one hour and a half, I broke two needles! It was 46g 3 barbs and 46g lavender.

How do you achieve that the doll doesn't loose hair,(I've rerooted) barbie dolls, but with this type o doll a thought maybe they are exposed to a little heat so the hair doesn't come out. See I'm trying to buy one of these for my niece but the ones I found with open eyes (and can be ship internationally) they have painted hair so I was wondering maybe I can put hair on it, and besides I don't want to ruin It they are to high priced if I exchange them to my country currency
