In this episode of Snakebite Rap Battles, we have Artemis Fowl from the book series of the same name against Light Yagami from Death Note in a battle of wits between two brilliant young criminal masterminds.
This was the original premiere of Snakebite Rap Battles, I've been working on this one on and off for about a year now (it was literally supposed to be out last Rap Battle Day). I still think it could've been cleaned up a bit more, but overall I'm happy with it and glad it took a bit, since I think I could do it a bit more justice now than I could've back then. After all this work, it's finally here, so I hope you guys enjoy!

Light makes a jab about extortion in the story, despite what he did. Fowl even points out the latter, saying "You're one to talk extortion with the path that your girl was led."

i dunno if anyone saw this, but in the beginning of the battle during the title cards a artemis in the background fades away while walking, and thats why the entire battle was a hologram of artemis and why he appears later in the battle in lights room, i think.

Obviously, Artemis would only participate in a rap battle that he was sure to win. Which he did. All of these lines are packed with references (that I don't entirely get because I haven't finished Death Note yet, admittedly) and also extremely catchy, great job on this!

I haven't actually seen the Artemis Fowl movie and the Death Note anime (yet), but I can say with certainty: BENNY, THIS IS JUST AMAZING. I can't even describe why I loved this battle so much, really, the costumes, the visuals, the lines, everything is very well done. As much as I don't know almost anything about the franchise of both characters, I didn't have so much trouble understanding most of the lines of each one (After i watched for the second time), quite the opposite, I just got to know how aggressive each line of them could be, and i was just getting more and more impressed. Hard to decide, but I will give the victory to Artemis. Again, awesome battle and keep it up the good work 💓👊😎
