I've been fascinated by this plant since we lived in East Africa 10 years ago. We used artemisia and neem to try to prevent malaria but weren't successful. But those of us who have used it for the past three years have still not had the virus going around.

Sweet wormwood has also been shown to be effective against hemorrhagic fevers such as Marburg. This is why I grow it and keep it in my home green apothecary.

I love Sweet Annie! A gardening client wanted me to dig it out of her herb garden many years ago because it was getting too tall. When I went to discard the “weeds” and debris at the end of the day, they smelled so good that I rescued a couple of them from the compost pile. And I’ve had them ever since! I’ve made door swags and wreaths with them once they get the little yellow balls. I only learned a year ago that they are medicinal! Love it!

❤This is a wonderful topic especially now that they're doing great things to help the African people to fight malaria. It's an amazing thing they're growing Artemisia more prolifically in Kentucky and they will be taking out the substances that will attack that disease better and put it in a pill form and God's Word says that "The prudent man will not neglect the MEDICINES that grow out of the ground for the service of mankind." Ecclesiasticus 38:4 Also..."The healing of the nations will be with My herbs says the Lord." Revelation 22:2 Thank you doctor very much for posting this God given video.

Can I just add here that we used a tincture of sweet Annie, along with mushrooms like lions mane, Chaga, turkey tail, etc. and a keto diet to significantly reduce the size of my husband‘s stage four, IDH wild type glioblastoma from the size of a baseball to the size of a small lime in about three months time! We have his MRI’s to show this. I would love to see more research done on Sweet Annie and her benefits when it comes to malignant brain tumors.

@iviewoods472

@@InaMaggienda The schedule that I have my husband on is to take two droppers each of the sweet Annie tincture, Chaga tincture, lions mane mushroom tincture, turkey tail tincture, and Maitake mushroom tincture. He puts this into a small glass with hot (not boiling) water and lets the alcohol evaporate for approximately 30 minutes. Then he takes this every day at 7 AM, 10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM, and 7 PM. I want to adhere that this blend is specifically for a glioblastoma brain tumor, and that other cancers have different supporting herbs as well as needs that need to be researched. For example, prostate cancer relies heavily on hormones, and I always advise talking to an herbalist about what plants would be beneficial and which ones to avoid for that particular type of cancer. Good luck and I hope he feels better! ❤️

@consciousgardener9790 my dad passed away last june 5, 2024, but im still interested about these things always, since i was teen, how to do 1st step, how's can fight cancer cells, my dad left some organic plants (artemesia, spirulina, turmeric) and my pleasure to take care of it maybe here in socmed could give me more info and help those who need it most especially those suffering cancer, that evil disease took my father's life and i'm very depress, and it like i had allergy when i heard it😢 i just found out from my do own research, artemesia complex 98% fight/kill cancer cells for 16hrs. My Father always used to drink was turmeric but when he felt that he's fine he switch its to guava and guyabano leaves, so i guess while you don't really sure if you are fully recovered don't stop to take it, besides its pure organic❤

It would be very interesting to hear about Artemisia's effect on cancer- I understand that extracts can enter the cancer cell, and cause it to explode due to it's effect on the iron in the cancer cell. Normal cells do not sequester iron in this way.

Technically my SAA "grows" herself... as here in NW Ohio it self seeds so readily that it is called an invasive "weed" by many. I very much enjoy it's fragrance and use it for crafts and aromatherapy. I am very interested in learning more about the medical properties of this plant and many others. Thank you!
