I have put mica powders (including crushed mica eye shadows) into little spray bottles with water, to make shimmer sprays. They can be colored with a few drops of spray inks.

Oh....OH... SHAWN.... YOU ARE GENIUS!!! I’m in heaven!!! I needed this!! This has been the best morning! I’m still in stay at home since my husband is very high risk...so my friend you made my day/week whatever!! Everything thing about this is crazy beautiful. I have a whole set of 36 Arteza metallics...I bought them about 2 months ago. I’m in love with them...I’ll try to attaching one of the things I did with them....BUT now I want the mica’s and I love love abstract....thank you thank you for doing this!! what would happen if you sprayed the top of the piece with water or whatever then added drips? I want to reach thru this screen and hug you! Now I’m going to float into my art area and PLAY! I love you Shawn!!❤️🎨❤️🤩

water would do some fun things with the metallic paints and the mica. I found with the mica it diluted the color more that using is with the medium or air brush medium. But it still would be fun. So glad you enjoyed the video... it was a lot of fun to create and I can't wait to see what you do. Stay safe my friend!

Thanks so much for this demo of multiple ways to use the mica powders. I have them but only knew of one use. You have now set me free!!! Yay!! I think I might try the glazing medium on the paper first and then add the mica. The powder has an adhesion property to it anyway that is hard to explain. And I think I'd like to move it around with my brush, maybe blend it in place, wet into wet. As usual you are a light for all of us who escape the recent world challenges by getting lost in our art. I keep a pan of water with a splash of Murphys oil soap in n near my table. I toss stencils, bracers stamps, even gel plates in to soak. Makes for easy clean up later. ....(
