If you get a MsM supplement make sure it has the NASC seal. I use one from Kala Health called Arthrix plus HA low allergen formula. Not sure its available where you are.

We started giving Joint Aid to our Doodle recently after a recommendation, too early to see if is doing any good yet. I add it to his food and he eats it no problem. I don’t know what Watson has, mine has a fresh food diet so it mixes easily and he’s a bit of a foodie anyway!

Watson is so cute! ☺️Have you thought of making your own treats for him that are full of joint supporting ingredients that may help arthritis? I know there are some good recipients with pure pumpkin puree, sweet potato’s supplemented by omega rich seeds like cracked linseed. It could be worth trying that way the treats aren’t one thing you might have to cut back on to keep his weight in check as they will be like a daily supplement that hopefully he will enjoy eating just as much as ham but 10000% times healthier ♥️

Yes, I've tried so many recipes on home made treats but he's just so fussy. He won't eat any treat that doesn't have meat in it. I've made things like dehydrated sweet potato etc and tried every fruit and veg known to man that dogs can eat - cooked AND raw lol, the only one I found he likes (and its not even fruit or veg, just legume) is a kidney bean. He doesn't like fish either. I tried giving him pumpkin puree years back for his tummy but he won't touch it. My fussy boy. What I do now is I put some of his special IBD wet food into silicone trays and bake them and he really likes them. x

Hi, my boy has been diagnosed with IBD since he was 10 months old. He was very ill but has managed to repsond positively to a hypoallergenic diet after lots of trials. He is still on prednisone (has gone from 20mg to 5mg) but I'm very nervous about him developing other complications. Have you got any advice? Also, hope Watson is doing better.❤🐾 ❤🐾❤

Watson is doing fantastic thanks :0) Here is the video I have done with all my IBD recommendations - kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYHOZKt9qpinl9E - its still the same today and we have it well under control. I didn't like him being on Prednisone either but doing the other things such as the probiotics, everything under 12% fat, no grain, means he could come off them. Best of luck! x

@@TheBeautyMaverick Thanks for your reply and for the video recommendation. I'm glad Watson is doing so well! 🐾❤️🐾 I'm going to speak to the vets and see what we can do as he is very skinny. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Hi Karen my dog was recently diagnosed with IBD and we are going to start prednisone. I saw that Watson was diagnosed a while. Has he changed on the medication and I know he’s had other things going on so you think the medication might have caused some of his later sicknesses.

I stopped Prednisone pretty quickly as it didn't help and I didn't like the side effects (hunger/scavenging) and risks. Have you watched the video on how we got on top of his IBD? He has raw food for dinner, and I give him buscopan if his tummy makes a noise. He has paracetamol as a pain killer if bad and none of his food or treats are above 12% fat. No grain, no poultry, and that's it :0)
