There's a lot of controversy about this encounter. I honestly feel like there's a lot to it, on several levels. First of all, it's a PSA like the ones from back in the day about 'stranger danger', where you should not trust a sketchy looking person who lives in isolation, who lures you into his sketchy cabin with the promise of food. Mr.BossFTW even mentioned he was skeptical because his Arthur got drugged before and left in a pit of bodies. People who are triggered by this should be triggered because this is terrible. People who are disgusted by this should be disgusted, because it is disgusting. Sexual assaults could happen to anyone, even a gritty gunslinger. There's a mission in the game where you rescue a young lady who was also subjected to routine sexual assaults and torture. As gross and dark as this encounter is, I can understand why rockstar didn't censor it. Plus it's rated M for a reason

That wasn't good enough though, so I loaded my first play-through save and went back as John so I could kill him before he was able to do anything. On the first attempt, he ran into his house and barricaded the rotten wooden door so well that a stick of dynamite was useless against it. On the second attempt, I waited until he'd gone inside to aim my weapon from the porch, but that just triggered the cut scene, and then he raped John...Fun fact, Arthur says "Oh my Lord," when he comes to and realizes what happened, and John says "Oh my God."

I'm a little surprised you went in, given how creepy the guy sounded and after your experience with the Aberdeens. I hadn't run into this guy before, but today after talking to Black Belle, I rode down to his place, fired a gun into the door frame so he would go inside, and then for further revenge on behalf of your Arthur, I firebombed the porch. I don't know why, but Rockstar wouldn't let the house burn. I threw a couple of dynamite sticks onto the front porch and the place wouldn't blow up. I wish I'd thrown the firebomb in when he had the door open. Little bastard was calling me creepy from inside as I walked away.

@@moonsun9602 If you choose not to go in, I found a way to kill him. Take some dynamite with ya and shootout the upstairs windows - Light the stick and toss it in, it took me a few tries and I wasn't even expecting it to work but it got him. I still can't figure out how to get inside though.
