I agree on the point of other characters, though. minor npcs really shouldn't respawn unless they're townsfolk or something, not a very specific, made-to-be-killed rapist npc in the swamp you'll likely only encounter twice lol

There’s slower and more painful ways to kill ive seen in game. Shoot both his kneecaps out, beat him, drag him through rocks or cacti, water board him, set his house on fire so he can watch everything he owns be destroyed, bring him up to colter for a while and let frostbite settle in, then either let him live with the trauma, feed him to an alligator, or burn him alive.

First time I was confused until I saw my arthur limping to our horse.. I had to pause for a while and felt so horrible and bad. I knew of the rapist but didnt know when you would encounter him so naturally I went back, hogtie him and fed him to the gators... For as incredible as the graphics are in this game, the animation for when gators “eat” people is very underwhelming. I remember when the game first came out everyone was going “you can feed people to gators!” and then I tried it and was like “… that’s it?”

That's because Gators dont "eat" people on land, it's just a territorial defense and that's why they just bite you and leave. Whereas if you play the game slowly you can see how the gators snatch animals off the shore realistically, and if you throw bodies or carcasses in the water, you can see them pounce and take it underneath. If you had to reload your save or start a new game, really think about what Arthur experienced for a minute and what real life assault/abuse survivors go through.
