This horse glitch didn't work with me yesterday. I did the same but with Tralawny while robbing a stagecoach (that opera lady) It showed that the fence is locked and the Clay brothers don't need any horses at the moment.

Arthurs drawings of interesting places is irrefutable evidence that you were supposed to be able to travel into the west before the epilogue. I love this game, but so much was cut.

@ I can somewhat forgive the western half of the map being cut until the epilogue, as it gives us something to explore with John. What I can’t forgive is Guarma, which was supposed to be a fully explorable island with unique factions, towns, wildlife and points of interest. The theory is that it was used as a testing ground for environments used In GTA6, just like North Yankton was used to test snow and environments in the beginning of RDR2.

Interestingly, John also has his own set of drawings for all of the Guarma-exclusive animals. Which to me implies that pretty much all of the free-roam drawings in the game were made for both Arthur AND John just in case due to development stuff

I think the devs just kept it simple. Open door = open door no matter where you are or who you are. Loot = loot, inspect = inspect. The game isn’t going to reduce the players ability if they never intended for you to be there. But they can’t remove the items that are able to be inspected. The game has no choice but to load in what it’s programmed to load in once you are in that area. Content was cut but I don’t think the ability to inspect and sketch items says much.

I cheated using a trainer and took Arthur to New Austin and the amount of things he says and draws made me completely sure him being there was cut content.

If you'd like, you can enable the money cheat and give yourself a ton of money before starting the mission. Then, you can go do all the stuff in the video, while keeping the money. When you finish the mission, an autosave is created at camp when you get back. Skip the welcome back party for jack, and rest until morning. Now you have the cheat money and you're also able to save the game like normal.

You now can carry on saving as normal and you have everything from the cheats still. I do this to enable loads of money, unlock the map fog and unlock all outfits

This does work, i've got it to work for me but there are two things you don't do, one, don't update the game, make sure not to install any updates as those updates will stop this from working, secondly, avoid entering tumbleweed, only skirt around the outside for the din bone & legendary animal, you'll get annihilated if you enter tumbleweed itself

Idk what these people are talking about, the sniper is disabled in this glitch. You have all the time in the world. My first run with this glitch took about 3 hours and went for everything then got into a fight at the armadillo bar and got killed by about 20 lawman.:. Loaded a presaved and going back just for the gun, horse, trinket and some fish

The funniest part of this glitch is that if you get the law on you and escape while still being far away from John, he’ll just appear without his horse. And he’ll just silently stick with you the whole time. It’s so funny 😂

Still works today, 16/01/2025 (playing on PS4). I'm roaming around collecting things right now, but it does appear some things have been patched. I can't even equip my fishing rod at any water spots, let alone catch a fish. The gang loot first on this list doesn't work because the boat isn't even at the end of the jetty to get on, and most frustratingly, the gold ingot glitch doesn't work. In fact, while you can see the original piece of gold in the box, you can't even take it, let alone make it respawn. Still, been great for getting those armadillo and gila monster skins...

Honestly, if they made it hard to get into these areas as Arthur with lots of elite pinkertons then its not really an issue. Its the fact that if you go as Arthur you get instakilled by literally an invisible sniper

Thank you for this guide, I did it exactly the same way. After John has Jack again. Important!!! Do not mount your horse on the Mustang, as it is not yet possible to change saddles. Otherwise the mission will not continue or will be canceled. Follow Dutch to the camp and after they celebrate and you have completed the Angelo Bronte mission. I was only able to save the game after 5 minutes. I also hunted all the trapper furs. 2x Gila Monster, 4x Peccary, 2x Arnadillo, 1x Condor Feather (can be found at the same spot where the Tiger Mustan can be found) 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 PC Version January 2025

U can easily do this in a mission in chapter 4 called angelo bronte a man of honour and u can do a money glitch with ur horse Now to go to new austin after u evade the law go to the bronte manor where john will wait there and the music will stop then u can go anywhere and explore anything and no enemy will spawn but the del lobo gang at theyre hideout So for the money glitch u want to go to the horse fence and sell ur most expensive horse with max bonding and sell him but u will still keep him because ur in a mission so keep on calling ur horse and selling him Then go anywhere u want explore everything and u can go to every store in new Austin and buy anything And interesting spots like the exploding house as arthur

For easy fishing, go to settings, then controls. All the way down at the bottom it will say Hold to Reel (Fishing). Turn it on and instead of twirling the analog stick, you just have to hold down X (Square on PlayStation). Makes it a lot easier.

I did this to complete Horseman 9 as Arthur. No invisible sniper and no lawmen, worked a treat. You have plenty of time to go the long way around over the Bard's Crossing railway bridge and the Owanjila dam route. No rush, just don't fall off anywhere or the challenge fails.Also gathered stuff but nothing remains in collecting bag so that was a waste of time, I could have completed Herbalist 10 challenge by collecting the required plants but wasted the time getting collared peccaries and iguana's, etc. for trapper but they don't remain in your bag when the mission completes. Small problem is horse only has a small amount of life left after the horseman 9 challenge so will have to do it again for Herbalist 10. You can hunt animals and sell them to buy food/ammo for Arthur but you can't get food, only top up tonics for your horse. I used an Ardennes for its massive stamina/health and it only just made it back without dying from lack of food/hay. So managed the Horseman 9 challenge AND completed the map, every road, just for fun. I think only the Ardennes has the stamina/health to have done this. I was there for many hours our time. I also collected the last gunfighters' pistol but unfortunately that doesn't remain after mission completes either. No shops open in Blackwater but grocery store, butcher and gunsmith are open, along with the saloons, in smaller towns. It also remained night time the whole time I was there which will be why stables were all closed.

I use that method, but all so know how to get rid of the fog it worked 3 out 3 times i have done it. I go into New austin, then go back to wear the old hermit lives by Annesburg and go into his cabin and Take things when I exit his cabin then the fog is gone. Then ride back to new austin were there no fog at all.

For the music you can always adjust it from settings, sometimes its annoying during missions. What i hate most, is Arthur cannot inspect 😢, all drawings disappear afterwards. Why John can go, but Arthur not? I mean at the end Arthur wasn't even in the boat? Or am i wrong.. rockstar should have given a chance to Arthur going to New Austin at least without that annoying sniper 😒

You didn't and cannot collect the herbs or legendary animals this way. Covered wagon for the herbs, and the buggy for the animals. 3 step process to get EVERYTHING out there as Arthur.

Not gonna lie did this last night after watching Django but with cheats enabled….after like 5minutes of survival with unlimited deadeye the Pinkerton popped up and I had to quick time pause the game to add my health a total of emm let me say 90 times… i had to cheat death 90 times while in deadeye 😢😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂and even before the best place I should of stayed in was the damn diner in black water it’s a one way entrance from downstairs and you can hide in telephone booth but it got boring because they weren’t coming in after I killed like 600 people ,understandable entirely I’d just toss dynamite in there and hope it killed me ,but yeah literally insane and I love that my Arthur hasn’t gotten sick bcuz my game resets before then ❤🎉

You forgot to mention turn off Autosave before starting the mission, save after you sleep at Shady Bell and wake up next morning. I am curious though if you collect Gold Nuggets and Loot, will they be there through out the remaining story later? I didnt know how to leave John behind, Nice. And sell your horse multiple times (So pick an expensive one). Seams a bit pointless to do that, when you can do the Gold Ingot at Ridgewood Farm Glitch. I have seen once where Arthur was able to set up camp and then explore during the day, but never worked for me while on the Angelo Bronte Mission.

Selling the horse gives you money to spend while there. I went with so little money I had to hunt like crazy and sell to butcher just to feed Arthur.

@@Drewdayz2419 worked for me just fine. I think the main reason being is go ahead and get wanted again in Saint Denis after the Graveyard. Lose the Lawmen and then you should be able to follow the video without getting sniped.

Just did this glitch. January 2025. It 100% works. Just follow the video. I got all the legendary fish and went to the post office to mail them. Recommend doing this. I can also go and sell your horse on the way back. Just note any pelts or fish u have in the horse will disappear. I also recommend getting the miners helmet before doing this mission. Saves time. I'm trying it on PS5 and it works perfectly, the problem is that it doesn't let me equip the fishing rod, it appears in gray and I can't use it, so I can't get the legendary fishes It seems like the game "understands" that I am in the city (Saint Denis) and does not let me use it, it is not only in the glitch during the mission, before starting the mission in Saint Denis I cannot equip the fishing rod on the street either, anyone else?

You can't use fishing rod in a street you have to stand in front of a lake or river to use the fishing rod.

@ I understand, you are right but when I was in front of the river/lake the game did not "get it" and did not let me equip the rod, as if I was still on Saint Denis streets, I don't know what I really did wrong because the invisible snipper was not in New Austin, but the game didn't "understand" that it was in front of the water when I was in the correct location of the legendary fish

That’s a glitch that happens to me often, all you have to do it quit the game and restart it should let you equip the rod, wouldn’t hurt to clear your cache too

Ever since I found out how to glitch to get free outfits in the Trapper this is the next best video since when I was on the road to New Austin I got fucking surrounded by endless bounty hunters when I stepped foot into Blackwater and ended up with a 300$ bounty that got put into West Elizabeth for some reason I did realize a few things, since this is done during a night mission then you'll be exploring new Austin at night. Are the other youtubers who post videos/clips of Arthur being in New Austin using mods that teleport them or something? As much as I love this glitch of yours i'm someone who wants to enjoy the adventure cuz it seems to me you have to do everything in ur 36 min video in one playthru u cant like dip during this entire thing cuz again if u leave during any mission in rdr2 u lose all progress so im expecting thats what'll happen since technically this entire video was done during an active mission. I'd rather just work smart and have Arthur noclip to New Austin (perhaps just do some of the exploration in the beginning of this video near Blackwater) Also did you walk all the way from Saint Denis to New Austin and back? or did you fast travel?

It's an old glitch and it only works in this mission and you can't collect herbs sadly in the latest version to complete herbalist 9

Bro it worked. I completed most of the things you mentioned here. But there's a funny event. When looting a box I mistakenly got into a fight with law . To my surprise John came back. He was begging for me to get back while I was having dinner and beer and exploring the forbidden land😂😂He was like" Where are you going" "This isn't the right way" etc. But My Aurthur was having none of that😂 Thank you man I did all that for hours and then my game crashed😢😢😢
