Exactly, I was even shocked to hear someone complained about the clarity. Personally I love such sound because it is a proof that it is the original version from the horse's mouth. I trust such that those that have been edited to remove background noises, etc. I respect this guy, much respect. He's narrating what I want to hear.

Alright, we appreciate what the founding fathers did in terms of liberating the country from the chains of colonialism. It's also interesting to see how events unfolded after Kenya attained self- rule. What a past! It robbed Kenya a lot ( nothing can replace that). We lost brilliant and selfless leaders. This is what greed does to a country.

He knows very little about Wanyoike Thungu. The difference between a man and his office foxes many narrators. Wanyoike was a simple kind man who was illiterate. One day when Kenyatta was coming from his Muthaite farm in Gakoe, his former youth wingers whose names I won't list here crowded his car to greet him. So he greeted each by name asking about their families welfare etc.. then he was told that Wanyoike is a threat to peace in the village. Kenyatta asked where he was and he was informed he is drunk and asleep under a certain tree. He ordered that they fetch him as he was. Wanyoike was picked cat-rat style and thrown in a land Rover then taken to Gatundu presidential residence. By morning sober but confused he was driven to airport thrown on an El Al cargo plane to Israel to fend for himself without any orientation or assistance. But trust Mzee Jomo to have informed Mossad to surveil and ensure he is not harmed by elements criminals or hunger. Wanyoike roamed until hunger took him to a home in a kibbutz where he was welcomed fed clothed decently. He was to return some years later a polished urbane fellow with civilised mannerisms with all skills of the special forces. The training curriculum place and length are his secret. I worked for him in Gakoe when I was a teenager and he was a very kind man though he had had an accident and was wheel chair bound because of fractured ankle... was so traditional he rejected all painkillers and opted to invite Mzee Wanganagwa to be playing kinanda accordion so he could get solace and rest. His duty demanded that he protect Kenyatta like a ferocious dog which is patted by friends but can tear to pieces strangers. Wanyoike the man and Wanyoike the presidential guard were two totally different men. I won't discuss his family but we all knew him to be reasonable kind slow to anger loyal to power very forgiving and responsible family man REST IN ETERNAL PEACE Wanyoike wa Thungu.
