That cradle is the single best one in the game by far, and the animation with the bird is sick. I personally don’t mind their light forge crates because they give super rare, top end cosmetics as an option for people. No need, but the problem is everybody wants them but most get salty because they can’t afford them lol. I rolled a few and got the cradle and most of the other gear, stopped after that as I wanted that most of all and don’t think it’ll give the other set without spending a lot more.

Paid cosmetics are fine but gacha mechanics and slot machines are not. You should be able to just purchase what you want outright, loot boxes are godawful.

@@ruski77 Agreed, I see absolutely no issue with pricing the set and individual items and for a limited time for a certain price, with the gatcha optional and maybe being cheaper or more expensive depending on some realistic luck / odds. As things stand the entire thing is based around the pity roll every 30 because the odds are set so incredibly low on the main gear.

Everything is expensive in this game. Even some of the skin sets go for $50 or more. Build sets go even higher. What the hell. Just sell em for 20 each like how The First Descendant does it. Get rid of the gacha too. I'd happily spend $200 if that were the case. I've already done so in TFD. This is just really bad value and anyone who defends it is insane.

For a game with only cosmetics purchase is an insanity? Dota2 has been doing the exact same thing and battle pass stuff yet became the highest pool prize tournament in history is also an insanity? How else do you expect the game makes money? They stay true at their words to only monetize from cosmetics. So far they haven’t violated anything. It’s their way to keep their promise. The next time they shift and start to monetize for exclusive in game items, you sure as hell be the frontliner with forks and torches.

I spend a lot of money on skins, but again, the prices for one skin in this game, let alone one from a gacha (Which there is no need for, for a game like this) is just horrid. 200 for a pity, or anywhere from 25 up to 60 direct from the shop. They can still make money off of those cosmetics. They don't need to take them away, just lower the prices or at the very least do regional pricing.

@@miragespl it’s not like they only release the gacha exclusive contents. We get to get stuff off of a single purchase as well. They literally don’t force us to gacha, not even at the slightest hint. In some games, we’re being forced to gacha by making a mission or quest to topup a certain amount to get let’s say starchroms. But they don’t, do they? Personally, i haven’t gacha anything from their boxes as well because i’ve spent a gigantic amount in Netease other game that i’m so regretful and ashamed to even admit it. I want to see whether oncehuman is a super p2w game later or they stay true on their words. Oncehuman says that they’re only monetizing on cosmetics which should indicate that some cosmetics SHOULD cost you a fortune and there’s nothing wrong with it cuz that’s how they earn money.

It is up there in terms of the outfit and general range of cosmetics provides a great value option for a wider audience. It’s just that like the last battlepass, people tend to not want to wear the gold outfit because everybody else has it etc. Lightforge are designed to be rare, which in turns means the target market are whales/collectors who don’t blink at throwing a few hundred bucks down.
