It sticks to predyed hair or pre beached. It won't stick to virgin hair like root regrowth. I use blue and purple over my faded black to fill in the lost color and in the sun my hair definately reflects the color ive tinted with

I have dark hair. I use Purple Rain and I love it. It doesn't make my hair a vibrant purple but it does make it a deep purple and it's beautiful. Last time I did it I mixed Purple Rain with Wrath (pinky red) and made Plum hair. It showed pretty well. Not vibrant, but noticeable. I can see a tint of Blue in your hair here. I also leave the color in my hair for a few hours.

Dudddde start lightening it now makesure you use /whoever does your hair uses opalex it'll save your hair !! I think a black root into silver would look sweet & then you can play with whatever colors you want on the bottom !!

Is your hair naturally black or was it dyed black? I'm assuming it's been dyed since your roots are growing in lighter. If so, the reason your hair couldn't really get a result or tint is because color doesn't lift color. The blue wouldn't really be able to penetrate the hair cuticle and give that bluish tint. Color on color never works out.

It didn’t get your white hair because it has no pigment so in order to get it blue you need to dye them orange in order to actually get the blue pigment in it the black hair has pigment in it so the blue dye as something to attach to

Laura Wilson well it’s kind of my fault. I thought it would not work but I actually did it as a video experiment! Lol I was thinking I could do an ombré or shadow root and cut it short so just a tiny bit would be silver and use extensions, then a lot of my real hair wouldn’t be damaged

I usually leave it on for an hour or more just because it makes your hair way softer afterwards and it let's it set in the hair more or atleast it does for my hair lol it usually stays in my hair for like a month or so and then I change colors

Your makeup is 🔥 🔥 🔥!!! Love the blue 💙💙💙 I cant believe how rude they were to your child! If you do bleach your hair just be careful! And do a conditioning treatment after! You can even get a deep conditioner, I’ve seen packets at Sally’s , and put a plastic bag over your hair and use a blow dryer because if you went to the salon you’d pay a lot just to slap on conditioner, a cap, and sit under the dryer for 20 minutes

Your hair is almost black x___x it will barely only show up as a tint on dark brown hair in direct light, but you NEED to lighten your hair in someway to dye it in any way ^^^ this is for the viewers because reading some of the comments, a lot of you don’t know how dying works

I think arctic fox is overrated. I tried it on my daughter's dirty blonde/light brown hair and hardly nothing! Patchy as all hell! Splats blue is way better.
