Well... it was explained multiple times about Transylvania being a blue based black dye and when diluted it would be a nice navy blue color.

If you use baking soda or vinegar or really any of the products recommended to take color out your hair will take it off the tub in my experience.

Honestly if you mix any of it with conditioner instead of the diluter it doesn't stick to baths. Also attic fox doesnt really stain bathrooms in my experience, just immediately rinse with hot water, wash it the dawn soap with bleach in it rinse well and use scrubby bubbles

Arctic fox black is a blue based black so if you dilute it it will be more blue. Same with when it fades it will be more blue.

If you mix some purple or some reddish orange it should neutralize some of the blue

Hey I'm looking to do this with my hair but I have dark brown hair and don't want to bleach it. Was your original blue hair dark, and did you lighten it in any way? Do you think this would work without bleach?

I know this was 2 years ago hut for anyone wondering you do need to lighten your hair. You can put it over dark hair to get a tint that you can see in the sun, but you will not get this blue result.

I use Purple Rain most of the time, and it never bleeds. I just dyed my hair with Transylvania on Wednesday and my god it got EVERYWHERE and bled so much in the shower. It usually turns clear after a couple minutes but the entire time I was in there it bled so much. I've had this issue with other colors, so I'm just sticking to my favorite, Purple Rain. All time favorite dye.

Did you rinse your hair with cold water? That should make the water run clear fairly quickly. I used Overtone Vibrant Electric Blue and it looks like I killed a Smurf in my bathtub, though. Also stained my body, nails, and hands for two weeks. I would also recommend buying black towels and pillow cases. I normally have everything black so luckily I don't deal with the transfer on that or my clothes, but I'm trying to find a different semi-permanent dye that doesn't stain so much or transfer and heard great reviews on Arctic Fox until I saw this video and heard about your bathtub incident which really fucking sucks because that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Did you find any other dye that doesn't stain your shower as bad? Seems like blue is just a bitch. I did not have any of these issues when my hair was violet. Blah. I love my navy blue hair though and don't want to part with it, so I am desperate to find a less messy aftermath ha.

Ebby Elsebai try Lunar Tides hair dye. They’re also vegan and cruelty free and have a much larger range of colors. SO MANY BLUES! Honestly it’s my favorite dye. Arctic Fox just stained too much for me where as Lunar Tides didn’t do that.

Also I have a question, it's just that I've been thinking about dying my hair this colour. But I don't want to bleach it cause I don't want to damage my hair. And my hair is really delicate and my parents wouldn't even let me bleach it. So should I buy a light denim blue colour hair dye and just dye my hair with that to achieve blue black/midnight blue hair color? By the way my hair color is brunette if you were wondering about that.

No a lighter color won't do much on dark hair so you should probably get a dark blue color with purple undertone but it wont show much either if your hair are too dark...
