I remember 60 years ago in New York my mother would serve artichoke with a clarified butter and lemon vinaigrette. In my memory I can taste it today. Thank you for reminding me of that time and those flavors, Chef Vivian.

Ha ha. I really love this part - "The artichoke is the best dish for poor people because you have more after eating than when you start ...... ". So so true. I consider myself very lucky as I grow my own artichokes, both green and purple and enjoy eating them very much. 💚💚💚💚💚

Nice chef, but it's like the same recipe for Belgium
