I just popped off the four screws in the back and then voila took out that piece I didn't even have to it's super easy to put it back together. And then I just spray painted it a little bit and it looks freaking sweet.

They sell those at Family Dollar . I've had one for a while, it's just sitting in the corner pile of what if. I want to fill in the gaps for sure. Maybe put a Vala mini gun on it somewhere.

With all the 'toy drama' that we all have to hear about lately, everyone hating on, bashing, criticizing, etc... Man, Articulated Ninja is out here reminding us how to just ENJOY collecting our figures, and to actually have FUN with our fun. Man I loved this video. I don't think I'll end up trying to run out and get any of these bigger toys because I'm running out of shelf, but it's so refreshing, jus hearing the happiness in somebody's voice again, and getting to see someone actually just liking toys. Especially with something like this, that's so approachable, and it serves as a good reminder that "fun" isn't something exclusive to this or that brand, or retailer.

Had almost the same experience. Went to 4 Dollar Generals and the last one had 4 total. Snagged one and left the others so everyone can get this pure joy. I totally get what you are saying as its like the Mech feels worth more than 15.00 vs a 30 dollar fig and feels like you overpaid.

Nice video, I came over from Wilhelm and Its Chad, not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but Chap Mei is doing a rerelease of these in the future in a new line called A.C.I.D vs B.E.T.A and they will be in different colors... And other vehicles. It'll be in 1:18... I was surprised you got 1:12 figures in that mech. Nice job!

First off, Great shout outs to two great channels, personal faves of mine. I have been searching for that Mech for my Joes for a while and STILL cannot find it LOL. It's getting wider release next year with the ACID vs Beta Line so I am sure it will get to me and I am not worried about it, but cool to see it can fit 1:12th with a tiny bit of work.

Chap Mei weapons and vehicles are also good finds for the 6 inch figures... I'm struggling to like them, but I'm picking them up for pennies on the dollar, so you learn to love the lash with them. You guys are looking at a different mech then I was looking at. They have some Sci Fi ones with robots for enemies called A.C.I.D VS B.E.T.A. They also have some pretty nifty Dinosaurs and the mechs would be great for your resident Dinosaur Wrangler... He could link up with your Alligator Wrangler, and his pal, the Ornithologist.

5:27 is the comparison I wanted to see. EE was letting those mcfarlane A.M.P.s go for about $15bucks a few weeks back and I picked up a couple of $5.99 vulcans from Ross to use the bonebreaker torso in them. 🤔 I guess I'll be stopping at dollar general when doing errands this week.

Hardest part is the Torso. With that down you can easily change the limbs out with god know what..... lots of customization potential here. Good find.

Oh hey! Go to Hobby Lobby and pick up some neodymium magnets (about the size of a quarter). SUPER EASY way to add that much needed "wrist" rotation on the Halo Mantis figure (where the weapons should rotate). Would love to share the images of what I did.... but it's in my storage unit. A lot of my stuff is in storage; doing a 5 year tour in Korea.

I really wish I could've gotten a dbl pack set bc the accessories and bc they are built so much better than the dollar general one. Currently though I have all the pieces taken apart from the Dollar general and cut at all the joints and I'm putting in ball joints that are meant for an armature and using a very cheap miniature electric screwdriver and a modified Dremel disc to add a rotating saw. I still have yet to source a suitable rocket launcher and gun for the other hand though
