It feels so weird that they push gen 1 so hard to this day. I guess gardevoir is there because its been consistently meta throughout the tcg's history. But the people who grew up with gen 1 have to be pushing 30 by now, surely they can throw in more of the later mons??

I get why, because they’re just the most recognizable since they’re just starting out, like with Pokémon Go. TCG Pocket has its own card pool and is basically starting over from the beginning. But I definitely would have liked if they made the first set more of a “Best Hits.” I know the first set also has like Meltan and Pincurchin I think 😂
