Amazing work!! How did you do the massive gliss at 6:15? I’m the clarinetist in a New Orleans Brass Band-type group at my college, and one of the tunes we’re playing is Coco, by the Lucky Chops. I’ve been trying to pull off Josh’s massive gliss that he does before each chorus, and I’m pretty sure I’ve been attempting the same one that’s in this concerto. I’m able to gliss no problem, I do it all the time. And the range isn’t an issue, i just don’t know how to transition from the clarion gliss to an altissimo gliss without the sound breaking. I have a video of me attempting it on a concert we did, if you’d like to see what I’m talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m very happy there’s someone else that loves messing with the clarinet’s capabilities, keep up the great work!
