Artifact of the Week 20240621 - Boys' Life Story

We recently wrote an article for the International Scouting Collectors Association on the common errors repeated in telling the story of the origin of Boys’Life Magazine and how it was acquired by the BSA in the summer of 1912. As a courtesy to their readers, we agreed to allow their June 2024 publication to be released before we cover the topic as part of our series here. However, it wouldn’t be fair to either audience to just rehash the exact same material, so while we also correct the errors in the Boys’ Life story in this video, we also provide some additional information to help close the story.
