I was looking at these 20 yrs ago when they first came in however all the stories back then where of the disc slipping and the whole neck destabilising. I hope all those issues have gone away with better practice these days

Unless it's cervical or equine cauda I won't have any more fusions. Is it possible to get an artificial disc above or below fusions? I've reached the point where they're recommending a fusion above my original 2 disc fusion.
