The bubbles are all gone, the tree is pumping water nicely. The lower branch leaves are dead but it was a long shot. Who knows, maybe new leaves will start. The top branch is doing excellent.

I'm very sad to hear this, I couldn't imagine this happening to my trees, but it must hurt much more because you worked on them much longer than I have. I wish your chestnuts and pawpaws a speedy recovery!
