Hello Everyone,
(As per your request I've Mentioned the Links for Latest Printer)
update: Limited time offer
Link to Buy the Latest Artillery Sidewinder X1: bit.ly/2ziOgkm
Aliexpress: bit.ly/2ZtSbFt
Printer Highlights :
Super Silent. only noise you can hear is form Fans
Direct Drive Extruder
AC bed. which can go upto 130degree in 5 minutes. that’s crazy
The bed which is a glass with special coating. like ultra base from anycubic.
Dual Z rod with synchronization belt
Built Quality. its so sturdy and rigid
can print at high speed upto 150mm/s (I tried 120mm/s until now)
Super clean, All black stealthy look.
The price at around $400 + shipping. which makes this a superb deal.
The company support is awesome. they are very active to help. there’s even a Facebook group and the community is growing great.
In this Video I will unbox a brand new 3D Printer from a Company named Artillery. The model is called Sidewinder X1 …
Packaging is good with overall protection. nothing was damaged.
Artillery company provided quite a few spare things along with the printer in case something goes wrong.
They says its 95% assembled. but I think its 99%. You literally have to put in 8 bolts. that’s it. 4 under the printer to hold the vertical carriage and 4 for spool holder. Thats it! it only takes 5 minutes.
Plug in all the clearly marked wires and its done. The Printer is now ready.
okay so why every thing is good with this printer? You may ask.
The answer is upgrades. You see, the company released this printer 6 months back, since then, based on reviews from other people they’ve improved it to the point where now everything is quite good with this 3d printer. I can and will totally use this printer without any upgrades.
I’m going to get 3-4 more of these very soon to replace my other printers.
Based on my review, this 3d printer throws its competition out of water now. I strongly suggest this printer. Don’t buy any CR10 series with bed size same as this printer. for $400, its even far better than PRUSA MK3s . you simply can’t best this price. with so many features.
Although if you are looking for small printer then go for ENDER 3 or CR 10 Max if you are into market for big printers. but this is the golden boy of 300x300 size printers.
I will be back with long term review of this printer once I complete more than 2000 hours of printing with this.
so subscribe for that and other very cool projects coming soon.

I just got SW-X1 today and it took me just over 1 hour to assemble. I could have gone faster but I did stop to read and verify the instructions for assembly, which my wife would appreciate. I have never had a printer to printer almost perfect right out of the box or any printer I have attempted to fix or rebuild on the first try. This printer is definitely quiet which in my opinion a really good selling point. I am very impressed so far with this printer functionality and ease of use.

I wouldn't say this is a prusa killer without an included removable bed of some some sort to allow for part removal and quicker return to printing (especially if you have two sheets), also this printer is missing the auto bed leveling, assisted isnt the same as the mesh bed leveling as with the prusa. Maybe its accurate to say a cr10 killer but certainly not a prusa killer.

Thanks for the comment. Let me put my point. The price is just half at $400, you can add all those things with the remaining amount and more. Second. The build quality is far more better. No zip ties. The AC bed gets to 130C in 5 minutes prusa can't get there. also this one has bigger bed size. Bro,you have to try this to judge this. Its a new company but they are serious about the product.

@@MrExpert good points, but i rarely print anything that large (have 7 printers all various sizes from small to similar build size of this (little monster cobble bot dual upgrade), also usually print PETG or PLA so unless yer printing abs all the time 130 bed is meh. Plus if yer printing ABS youll need to enclose the printer. I print ABS on my makerbot 2x exclusively, which is a very sucky machine. true you could add the other stuff but then you have to do the work of integration and be a tinkerer, but for those that want everything without the hassle, i still dont think its a prusa killer even with the price point. Certainly a cr10 killer since same price, same model style and features. but to each his own. btw how long have you had this and been testing with it? did u get it free for a provided review or you fork out the cash? whats the reliability over time do cables become worn easily? I see there is no silicon sock, have u run into buildup on the nozzle? speaking of the nozzle is appears to be similar to the volcano extended nozzle, assuming its a knock off and not a e3d version. do they offer other nozzle types for abrasive filaments etc...

Why some of friends think auto leveling is the necessary part? I think it should be used in not enough stable leveling.

Hey , great video . How good does this print in abs ? I have an ender 3 pro which is very good for pla but I cannot print in abs . Do you think with a good brim around part and keep good bed temperature will it abs print for long ? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated . Thank you

Nice detailed review. I have one of these and agree completely with your conclusions. I have a CR10s and a Prusa Mk3s too. I still think the Prusa is the best of the bunch but this Sidewinder is pretty darn close and has relegated the CR10s to last printer in the queue for a print.

Hello Josh, Printer is very capable, it can go 130 at bed pretty quick. I've never tried printing ASA till now but with high bed temp at 110 and 250 at nozzle with some kind of enclosure I'm sure you can print it. The printer is very awesome I must say. super quite. I enjoy watching it print. :) All my other printers are now gathering dust :P
