Auto Tile Tool - Now You Know Too - Godot Tutorial

How to use the auto tile feature in Godot, it is easier than you think and this short video will get you started.

For slopes just create a separate auto tile and treat the slopes is if they were corners with the bitmap

But in that case you would have to use another tilemap right?

@@Red_Eagle that's weird, it might be harder to get to then I let on in the video, I would just keep clicking around and you should find it eventually.

This is helpful. But the interface is so fiddly the parts that you cut out are where I'm getting stuck. Doing the collision shapes, it acts all wonky, sometimes it lets me select a block, sometimes I see only 1 'handle' but can't control it. It's really odd.
