I like the videos, very easy to follow and understand. Wish everyone else did this with their hardware. This device has good potential. I'll wait till further firmware gives it the ability to customise samples. Be able to load sounds from various sources. Would've been cool if it had an SD card slot. I noticed you'll be attending NAMM this year. Keep striving. Cheers

Hi Hernan, thanks for the feedback! By the way, samples can be imported as wav or mp3 files. If you have any questions about how to do this, please feel free to reach out.

These are all awesome! I'm trying to reproduce your amazing work on my Orba 2. But I don't get the same sounds you do... Can you tell us which presets you used for Drums, Bass and Chords? Thanks!
@Artiphon Жыл бұрын
Hey there! We're using Tom Thum's "Plosive Device" presets.
@DerekErbSolutions Жыл бұрын
@@Artiphon Thank you so much for the reply! Are these the same as his Kit, Face Bass, Poly Gottal and Blippy Lead presets or is this a separate grouping somewhere else? Obvious newbie here ...
@Artiphon Жыл бұрын
@@DerekErbSolutions No worries! It sounds like your searching through the "Presets" tab. If you scroll over to the "Songs" tab in the app, you can load all four modes at the same time. However, yes, the presets you listed above are the same as the sounds grouped together in the Song.

The sounds coming from those preset sounds nothing like the ones you're playing in the video

This is all very helpful and amusing, but it leaves a burning question unanswered: What if we want to do the opposite of erasing a song (as you show in this video)? How can we save and transfer songs from Orba 2 to a DAW, such as Ableton Live?
@Artiphon2 жыл бұрын
We have many more tutorials coming soon and will definitely be covering how to use Orba 2 as a MIDI controller. In the meantime, feel free to check out the manual for details about this: artiphon.com/pages/orba-2-start And if you have any questions about a specific DAW, please don't hesitate to reach out. 😄

@@Artiphon I just looked through the entire PDF manual and didn’t see any instruction on how to save my Orba 2 jams on my local machine, and so that I can load them up in my DAW. Can you point out where that guidance is, or make another of your funny instructional videos about this? I’d really like to be able to save the sketches I create on my Orba and then transfer and further develop them in Ableton Live. Thanks!

@@shalomormsby Ah okay, I see what you're looking for. Sorry about that. Saving your loops is a committed feature for Orba 2 and our development team is currently working on it. We'll let you know as soon as it's live.
