few hundred hours on the kou and it's still pristine, used your cleaning method only once using the kou for as long as I did (I loved it) made me realize like you said that I want the y axis everywhere and it actually did bring me back to the Raiden lmaoooo now I'm aiming better on the Raiden then otsu/kou/skypad

I assume it's some kind of idealized solution for those that are good with vertical control but struggle just enough with lateral control that they're always bouncing around the very left/right edges of their target no matter the DPI and constantly losing duels because of it. I mean, pretty specific and DEFINITELY me, but still hahaha. You're right on it being unknown because in all of my rabid mousepad research over the last month, I didn't come across this variant until I saw a listing for a clean used one.

Turns out my old Courgar Speed pad has a lot less frictions on Y axis, than X axis, also, never payed attention to this. Maybe hayate kou is for me? I'm looking for good balanced pad leaning toward controlled, for claw grip, which is the only grip I do.

Maybe you will review SPC CORDURA ENDORPHY? Its very popular in Poland. Soft mousepad, waterproof, great quality but I don't see any foreign review in english language. And in my experience it's best soft mousepad and I have a lot mousepads in my collection.

I bought a white mid Shidenkai when the Hien ran out of stock for a bit, did this just ‘cause it was basically a Hien underneath and there was no white color available for a Hien. However, I planned on not peeling it immediately and just let it wear of, but weirdly enough, it gave up after 3-4 weeks. The peel didn’t fade enough, but a wild air bubble appeared in the middle of the mousepad, so I just removed it and enjoyed the white Hien anyway. This might not be Artisan’s fault though, since I sprayed alcohol on it the first fay (‘cause you knoa, covid and sht), and live in a humid environment, which may both have affected the adhesive in between the glass coating and the Hien. Note to others: If you plan to peel the Shidenkai, the logo is on the glass coating, if it matters 😂. Not really important but no one just tells it

I'm one of the rare people I guess who wanted this kind of pad. I pretty much exclusively play games like Apex and Overwatch that have a lot of vertical aiming and with my aiming style the fast vertical movent with the more controlled horizontal tracking feels just right.

I ain't no Japanese expert but I'll tell you Kou is pronounce Kō a.k.a. K OOHHH (o pronounced the EU way, not as an EU U) in the American English spelling I guess... In the same way, otsu should be like OOHHH-TS-UUU (same thing about the U applies), either way Google translate is Ur friend Good review as per usual 💥💥💥
