Great video, i just wanna specify that the artisan zero isnt a slow mousepad. Peoples get confused when they hear that its the slowest artisan pad then order it and realize its a lot faster than their current control pad. The zero is slower than both hien and otsu but it doesnt make it a slow pad by any means. Its a lot faster than any mainstream control pads on the market. Its probably on the edge of what i would call a control pad.

I'm not a fan of control pads either. They feel too sticky to me. I love the feedback the Otsu texture gives through the mouse feet. I'm a CS player and the majority of players swear by the Zero. I bought an LGG Saturn to try but it was too smooth and floaty, lacking the feedback I love with Hayate Otsu. I think the Venus is a good option for people who think Otsu is too fast. I prefer it sometimes if my aim feels a bit jittery.

@Inconsistense2 жыл бұрын
@@cccaliburr6234 Depends what you play I think. I personally find that Otsu is better for games where you need to move/look around a lot and track more, a game like apex would be a good example. I find the zero is better for tac shooters like valorant. So maybe a game where you flick more.

@@cccaliburr6234 If you like the glide maybe give the Hayate Otsu a go. My Zero does still give glide of course, but when I move the mouse I can feel the friction/resistance on the mouse feet. I just sat here moving my mouse across both the Hayate and the Zero to see how it felt side by side and yeah I'd say the Zero definitely has more noticeable friction. hmm... that's a difficult discission. Honestly you could go with either one of them. You won't be disappointed regardless of which one you buy. I think it's a matter of which one you value more (either control or speed). Both pads have control and speed, the otsu has more speed... and the zero has more control (think of it as a 40/60 split). I don't have multiple copies of the same pad with different hardnesses, so I'm not 100% sure. Going off from what Artisan states, "mids" are very slightly faster with worse stopping power, "xsofts" are very slightly slower with better stopping power, and the "softs" are the most balanced version of the pad. @@Keeahh do your fingers touch the mousepad when playing?

they don't. Maybe the edge of the thumb touches lightly on the pad, otherwise I don't think mine do. I have a new smaller mouse on the way, so my grip will likely change a bit once I get it. Will definitely make a video when I receive it! :)
