Honestly love the sound of this miced up. Yeah it may not have as much low end as the SRS60c, but in my opinion that's a good thing, especially for studio use

I own a Performer and a EM225. I love the Performer's crisp tone and great bass resonance.

I own and love Maton guitars, but not a big fan of the Performer model, although these sounded pretty good.

@@BarbarraBay Mainly because I play unplugged and I think the thin body on the Performer is lacking depth compared to say an SRS 808 with its cedar top and blackwood body- but hey, personal preference.

How would this model compare to a 2014 EBG808 CLG Performer (the older model which had the same sunburst color as the current Nashville model)? Please advice.

The current performer uses ovangkol bridge and fingerboard instead of rosewood since the CITES issues. The older performer model also had natural color and/or gloss options. The older performer, depending on which year it was made, used to have laminate back and sides. The current one is full solid guitar & has pickup upgrade to AP5 Pro pickup that has a mic on top of the previous AP5 original, AP5, or AP4 pickups. The current one has no body binding, not sure if the previous had body binding or not.
