Just got the pad in xsoft and soft. It's basically a slower otsu with a normal surface pattern. It doesn't have the icy feeling at the start its just slower. Imagine moving the mouse side to side on an otsu and slow it by 25%. Thats the speed whenever you move the mouse and when its already gliding. Theres also not much difference in xsoft to soft. If i had to say the soft is a tiny bit more consistent and the xsoft has a tiny bit more stopping power. Im talking like a 5% difference. Its quite small but you can feel the xsoft pattern more slowing it down.

I researched so many videos etc to find my first top tier mousepad right noe i have a decend one with a no game no life print on top i will try this because i think i want a faster pad i liked the thin pads but my old once were rough so with a faster pad i think i should go with soft thanks for the videos and i wish you a great Christmas time :) 🎉

yoo stubby, i'm insanely late but i just watched your artisan buying guide from 7 months ago, and you mentioned the zero not working well with sleeves at all, i just wanted to ask if you can explain why? i plan on using a sleeve with the zero since i hate the friction between skin and cloth, thank you

If you or anyone else that can answer has tried the Dream Machines pad or a very very similar pad, how would you say this pad compares overall, especially the static friction and micro adjustments? Because i would assume even the soft Key83 is decent amount faster, which don't care about too much, i just mainly want a decent amount less static friction

How is it compared to type 99? Dynamic/static friction levels, etc.?

MUCH quicker, i would say its at least 2-3x faster in static and dynamic.

Mained the zero for 2 years and then otsu for 1 year. Think this will settle it for me. 🙏

It’s faster than otsu. Idk why stubby said it’s in between the zero and otsu when other 3 reviewers (Viscose, jakeu and boardzy) said it’s between otsu and hien (closer to hien than otsu)

Hey there, Stubby (sorry for off topic) Someone recommended your channel for me and said that you might be able to help. I must decide between the Vaxee E1 and Maya X (either the fnatic one or white version). My 2 dealbreakers for me are: 1.I sweat A LOT, like A LOT, I need a good coating plus 2.I want the lowest force needed to actuate and spam the clicks so I want the lightest clicks. What do you think?

maya x all day, i have hyperhidrosis so i get the sweating all too much. the maya x felt great. i dont really like vaxees coating because it feels grippy (no j cole) but after a long play session it gets slippery.

thanks for the review. I learned it's a textured surface but how does it compare to Hayate otsu and hien? I hate hien for its abrasiveness it's very painful to use, and I hope Ki-83 won't be too hard on skins?

its feels like an otsu in texture fully. like s smooth texture but not a smooth bad if that make sense.

Great video! I have a hein soft, would you recommend to upgrade? Also, with dot skates do you notice the mouse sinking and scraping into the pad?

with dot skates yes, but only on the xsoft and soft of this pad. the mid would be a LOT better for dots.

buy or stay with my svbase control v2 which is really good in specific scenarios but not in all. also worried about the high price, alongside possible duty taxes for EU import.

The dynamic glide is nice, the higher static that a hien or otsu provides a lot of stopping power that I personally enjoy.
