I always share how it’s so important to have a partner interested and understanding enough to participate in your cons - I think it’s the most stressful part of being a creative - selling 😅😊 - it’s best to really consider things when your partner isn’t there for you. 8:59

Jafax is a "local" con for me and one that I have been vending on and off again since it was back at GVSU. I've heard from vendor friends and staff friends that this year was definitely slower than past years. I think the Asian Pacific festival that was downtown the same weekend was probably one of the larger conflicts with attendance numbers. I hope the con can adjust their schedule to be on a different weekend, because it is a nice convention and I always hope it does well.

I went to Animate in Columbus and I’m told this year was its first year, and I will say I hadn’t heard of it before this year so that sounds right to me, so it makes sense that it’d be on the smaller side too

You def had an awesome display! It felt super professional. :) I was cosplaying a Korok Seed. I also felt like it was a little slower than Jafax's in the past but I personally think things are still recovering from the pandemic. Still had a great time myself.
