This is absolutely the very first time I have ever heard of an "egger". I love it. 🙂Through this channel I have been able to experience so many unique personalities, hobbies, businesses, eccentric characters, forms of art, and generally interesting aspects of American experience. From the Daytona Beach Ice Cream guy, to Rufus Hussey the Slingshot Master, to the woman who boiled cowboy hats, to the tobacco chewing couple...and so many more. Thank you as always for posting these.

Philip, thank you. I literally carried all these old tapes around for over 40 years because I couldn't let go of the people. They deserve to be seen and remembered. I'm so luck the Brown Archives at UGA made it possible.

That's cool! Thanks, Andy, for showing us the things we, probably, missed back when it was on TV because we were young, outside, and the news programs weren't anything we ever wanted to watch.

My pleasure. Still the 70s were a big contrast to when I was growing up. The CBS Evening News was 15 minutes long. It wasn't worth coming inside for. In 1963 they finally expanded to 30 minutes.

Wonder if any of her pieces are still floating around. She was the definition of a southern lady. Very eloquent in the presentation of herself.

Hi, I wouldn't be surprised. I remember she sold some and gave away a lot. Thanks for watching.

I think I have one! My parents bought an embellished goose egg that looks just like this for my grandmother, and I have it now. It came from a vendor that had a table set up at the Meteor Crater in Arizona in the early 70s. It's very beautiful and interesting. I'm so excited to come across this video!

@@angiedawn3498 What a wonderful treasure. The eggs from the 70s are pretty rare I understand. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Yes, we still have many of them. By the way, Bobbie is my grandmother.

She’s my grandmother and we still have many of her eggs. I’ve never seen this before until my aunt emailed me the link this morning.
