It doesn’t really have to do with talent. They have to train to get up to that lung capacity. Anyone can do it as long as they don’t have a disorder or disability preventing them from doing so.

I was thinking the same thing, but they aren't only holding their breath, they are moving their bodies at a fast pace, while treading water and still producing and maintaining a beautiful, graceful routine. Extremely impressive and so entertaining to watch.

Training and practice.. it’s almost like singing, the reason singers can hold a note for so long is due to breath control and knowing when and when not to breathe. (I’m a singer and can hold a note out for 12 measures, which is like 48 bpm… Ive never tried to see how long I can hold my breath underwater)

I have a new found respect for these swimmers now that I've seen how they slick their hair back and the amount of work they have to do to take it out. Synchronized swimming, swimming just in general, upside down, holding your breathe, facial expression. Synchronized swimmers have a lot of skills

The most difficult sport and during 15 min show they use like 9000 calories. Huge respect. It Is a very challenging sport. Spain's team has the privilege that 5 percent of soccer teams' incomes are going to their training
