This is too clear up most questions in the comments about what she is talking about. Ethan is infected with a special mold which infected the baker house in re7. It all started with Evelyn who is a bioweapon for the umbrella Corp. When Ethan died in the baker house because Jack killed him, the mold saved him and now at this point he is infected. But he is infected with the most special mold known as the "e-type menomycete" and it grants him control over his mold, high pain tolerance and regen powers. And that's what makes him the most powerful charector in the resident evil series. He is also my favourite protagonist in the series.

I'm just waiting for the vids where people make them react to his left hand being sawed off in his fight against controlled Mia, then seeing it get reattached via staples later on, and it functions just fine like that didn't happen. Also, waiting for the vids where they react to gamers playing certain parts in RE7 & RE8 like: Mark, Jack, Pewds, and many others. Especially Mark doing his "I'm a brave boy!" mini-speech when he goes down the stairs xD
