@@nohi3619 She has CVID and is essentially bedridden. It's an immunity illness which has caused other complications like a serious lung infection and she has to use oxygen condenser(nose tubes). That being said she's all round incredible. She was training to become an opera singer before she became ill. You should check out her singing opera. She can only do it in short bursts due to her condition but it's beautiful. Search for her singing Ave Maria(and some other songs). It'll break your heart seeing how talented she is and being unable to live out her dream.

"She's Japanese and English" Actually Gura and Amelia are both mostly english. They both don't speak japanese well. Gura can mimic the language and read it out while singing, but she doesn't actually speak the language very well. When she did the Mario Kart Collab with her Artist they mostly communicated with single words rather than full sentences as Amashiro doesn't speak English very well and Gura doesn't speak Japanese very well.

Yeah, I was about to say this. Someone sent her a superchat yesterday about this video while she was literally going through the dozen or so words of Japanese she knows. She was amused by the concept of them drawing her with only a vague description. She is about to do a collaboration with one of the senior Japanese Vtubers and suddenly realized what she remembers from subbed anime probably isn't going to help her communicate much. Fortunately there's going to be a third Vtuber there that is fluent in Japanese, English, and Indonesian, so she can bridge the gap. Gura and Amelia are two of the few popular ones that don't already know Japanese as a first language or are otherwise fluent in it.
