I think you're confusing two different Lucy's, it's not the same woman but a folklore creature whose name and tradition got overtaken by a newer christian saint. There's Lussi, which is the large witch-like woman who flies with supernatural creatures on a broomstick / iron carriage / horse. Idk about kids, but she does get furious and would punish families for not getting their chores done (like baking, weaving, cleaning etc) in time for jule preparation. By now it's somewhat merged with / overtaken by the christian st. Lucia - with white robes, lit candles and singing (usually for preschoolers), but has kept the 13th December date and association with baking, namely lussekatter.

The left and right thing comes from dyspraxia! Along with that and dyslexia, there are also conditions like dyscalculia (which I have, myself-I cannot hold numbers and do longer math problems in my head without using my fingers to count). But yeah, people with dyspraxia tend to be really uncoordinated/have a lot of spatial issues. One of my besties was salutatorian and she struggles with left and right and also falling on her ass a lot and walking into things. Thankfully, she’s embraced being The Comic Relief and has leaned into it.

A bit late to watching it, but I loved this episode! Karina's was definitely my favorite. For reasons. :D My 5 favorite non-anime cartoons: The Spectacular Spider-Man (favorite), Mummies Alive, Transformers: Prime, Highlander: The Animated Series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... She-Ra and the Princesses of Power NEARLY made this list, it was super close, so let's say it's my honorary 6th fave. Weirdly, NONE of these were ones I watched before I was in my 20s. I'm also happy to see I share a birthday with Petra Leyte from Re:Zero! One of my 5 favorite anime for sure. Some of my animated crushes from Back When: James from Pokemon, Izzy from Digimon, both Mutsumi Saburo and Lance Corporal Dororo from Sgt. Frog, Tohma Seguchi from Gravitation, Chichiri from Fushigi Yuugi, Prowl from Transformers: Animated, the Riddler from Batman: The Animated Series, both Kitty Pryde and Kurt Wagner from X-Men Evolution (and the comics tbh), and both Basil of Baker Street and Miss Mouse the burlesque dancer at the bar in The Great Mouse Detective.
