Internet and Kpop arent as wide as it is now but Koreans treat them as the biggest girl group that had an impact. They are bigger than the Boy bands during their time in public recognition to the point that elderly and those netizens who dont care about Kpop knows them as they were cf queens and had appeared in a lot of the shows lol. They were huge huge during their peak but Kpop isnt that huge that time and youtube
