The interesting thing about I Got A Boy is that it’s meant to be a group of girls discussing a boy. The writers of the song said there are nine distinct tonal shifts (9 girls in SNSD) so it’s like all the 9 girls expressing their opinions on 1 of the girl’s boy.

Yup, the lyrics hint of this as well. From gossiping, to 1 girl admitting the changes in her (emotions, looks etc), to friends' advices/warning about this situation, to another being burned by love (Tiff's part especially with the wig) and all the culmination of a girl's cycle of falling in love with this boy.

Jessica's "let's bring it back to 140" is actually a '2-for-1'. The song returns to 140bpm as Drew identifies, but also returns to the song as it was at the 1m 40s time stamp.

Even watching Drew's facial expressions during IGAB was so satisfying because that's how you know he was tuned into the song and all its changeups. It's also funny that he naturally was cued into the tempo when Jessica noted 140bpm

i hope we can get a dancer's reaction to hyoyeon's hit the stage performances especially the final performance(locking), she did so well and she's known to be one of THE BEST dancers in kpop she's been dancing and doing competitions since she was really young and i'd really like to see what a dancer like ceecee would have to say about it
