Yo bro that was me who commented on one of your vids about your last channel. Man I commented that a while ago, probably like last year. I believe your old channel was named “Steady Creating” or something similar but man it just seemed like most of the videos you made I really resonated with at the time. It was great content bro even if there weren’t many subs. Anyway, I pop in on this channel every now and then to see what you’re up to. Good to see you’re still going.

If you are an artist especially a musical one, i should connect to you musically, you shouldn't even have to drop a video and i should be fine with it. People who try to do this extra mainly do this because their music is surface level and they have to find other avenues to connect with their fans.

Sure but why not utilize what’s available to you? Especially if you know artists are discovered after interviews. Some artists may not have it figured out yet but they can post a video and start discussion and connect with like minds. It’s not the only way but it’s an avenue.

@@modernemcee Yeah initially you have to hustle for it but once you make it and the eyes are on you, you have to stay true to your craft and not ride trends, the connection you form then will remain even if you are absent from the scene for multiple years just like Kendrick.

@@ravantheoghacker863true I agree with all that but I’m not talking about riding trends, more like having your own world where you have an audience that’s more concerned with what you’re doing and saying than what’s trending at all. I was using the fact that ye and Drake documented their journey as a large scale example but there’s something to be said about artists that are closer to their fanbase, making them feel a participant of their movement instead of just a consumer. Hope I’m making sense. Lmk. Your input is very valuable to me.
