About Kanye, Jensen Karp wrote a book called "Kanye West owes me 300" and there's a part where he tells that Kanye played an early version of Jesus Walks to a room full of producers and A&R's just like he did in his Netflix documentary. At first, people gave him a positive feedback, but when he leaves the room they were laughing at him and mocked Kanye's voice. One of them even said to never let Kanye peform like that again. Little did this people know that Jesus Walks would win a Grammy for best rap song.

This really speaks to me. I'm not a professional musician, but I have to leave my job soon because my boss, who's training me (I'm a pharmacy tech in training), wasn't able to handle running a business and teaching me how to be a tech. It hurt me a lot, and I thought I wasn't special, but it's just one of those things in life. You can't stay in the same place your whole life, you can't navigate your way to the top if you don't take those opportunities now. Hope this helps
