@BeatBay Yes, he was referring to chet atkins. Because chet was of of the first people to play the guitar with a bass line, a melody, and a sort of rhythm all together. For instance is you look up Mr. Sandman on youtube under chet atkins, it almost seems like he's playing 2 or 3 different insturments at the same time, of course there are some players playing along in the backround, but you'll get what I mean ;)
