Oh wow, I didn't know they have a 100 set of the DecoTime Twinmarkers 😮 Just yesterday swatched all of mine collected throughout my Action visits 😅 I have to say, I only have space left for about 20 more though 😂 My take on them: The brush tips do get tattered quite fast and they do smell, but they are not yellowing through the pages and the colors are all very lovely. Would be lovely to see you try them out 😊 Have a great time coloring!

Aww Judith it's not a problem. It's just I ramble so much in my videos they can take a couple of hours to edit (by which time I'm sick of the sound of my own voice 😆) so if not many peeps are watching those particular vids, I consider saving myself the time (and earache 😅) of editing and uploading it. That all said, there's been a flurry of views on it now, so I will edit another one (or two) when I have the time 🥰

Thanks for sharing your haul. I found a KZbin vid explaining the recent price increases - apparently VAT now needs to be paid on the low content books and Amazon has automatically added this to a number of books, but they've not been too accurate with their classifications. I understand if VAT needs to be paid, but I really hope Amazon adjust their costs for their printed books. The seller doesn't get much, and we as customers pay a lot for poor quality paper and often poor quality printing! Hopefully things will smooth out soon, as £10+ for a book is just crazy considering the paper quality.

@CraftyColourist Interesting info! If you look at old Amazon orders though, most the books already had VAT on them?

@CraftyColourist I just scrolled back through all my orders and every RJ Hampson book I've ever bought has always had VAT on it, same with every Morgan O'brien and Kamelyia Angelkova. So it can't be VAT being added. If you look at a £10.30 RJ book now £8.59 is book and £1.72 is VAT (so 20%) when they were £8.32, £7.18 was book and £1.44 was VAT (also 20%). So the £2 increase isn't VAT.

I saw a lady using the glass pen to outline in colouring books thought you might like to give that a go..( she dipped it in white ink then went round the lines it looked good.. (well when she did it, haven't tried it yet but will)

Hey love your videos! Please do post the hauls. i wanted to say that Prime Day is 8 and 9 October so the price hike might be that? Put the prices up, so it looks like a good deal when they go down again? Hopefully, anyway as like everyone is saying, they are too much money at nearly £10 a book. x

@deborahjane68 haven't they? I remember when I restarted colouring at the end of 2020 and the Amazon Printed books were £4.99 which was an alright price. The proper books (like Johanna Basford and Rita Berman) are usually around £10 so £10 for an Amazon Printed book is too much. Hooe you're well sweetie 🥰

All these hygge/cute/comfy books have flooded the market. I don't deny that they are cute but i'm annoyed that AI has gotten this rampant on Amazon. Then there's RJ, which I would love to support a real artist, but that price for Amazon paper books is too much for me. 😶

@LeeDee5 I agree! When I looked the other day there were 100s of these cute books and some of the images were very odd looking. I also agree that £10+ is too much for an Amazon Printed book. The Papeterie Blue one was only £4.79. That kinda feels like the right price range.

@junbug1029 The lovely Maureen (@crossstitchbutton) and I have been friends for many years. She is also an aspiring minimalist so does understand about letting things go. Everything she sends always has a note saying "only keep what you want, pass on what you don't". I also did thank her personally the day I opened the gift.

Lily knows what to do with anything she does not want!! We have been friends for many years now. It is a rule I make to all my friends and family that are gifted gifts from me, a note is always included saying keep, pass on or sell. I am never hurt in what ever they decide as I am and always have been a minimalist and want to make sure no one keeps stuff out of guilt. Hope this helps everyone one to understand better.....❤
