Hi Richard! Would just like to know how you got that specific shape for the quadrilateral, because another shape would have been harder to work with

It's about how much you solve other questions. It gradually leads to deep understanding.

two adjacent angles were right so the shape would look something similar to what he drew, the only things different would be the lengths of the sides next to the right angles that aren't shared, which wouldn't change how the problem is solved
