I was pallbearer at my grandfather's funeral. I did not know it back then but I'll be carrying that heavy burden with me for the rest of my life. My grandfather was like the only father I ever had. Thank you for this incredibly beautiful passionate and cathartic hymn.

It's a precious gift to not be able to let go of the ghost of our loved ones. Cherish it and let it return as it wills and joy will always fill your soul

@@snakeplissken4686 I am sorry for your loss. I, too, had a brother pass away. It was diagnosed as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome but I believe it was due to head trauma inflicted by my dad that caused him to eventually stop breathing. Babies are very fragile. If they are abused even once they can die and it can take days for the effects of one strike of the hand to the head to take its toll.. He was found dead in a crib at daycare. The daycare lady went to check on him and he was blue. This is why child abuse can be misdiagnosed as SIDS. Death comes at a later time and the perpetrator may be nowhere near the place where the infant is found dead. His funeral was held a few days before my 16th birthday. His name was Derek. It means "Gallows." Kind of a prophetic name to give a baby who would soon die from unexplained asphyxiation which is essentially what SIDS is.

For I have found a great deal of understanding in the meaningful reasons behind our names. Maybe the gallows is for the one who perpetrated the evil on a small and innocent little child. You know I hate to say but the hell this place has become. Im not sure how much comfort there is only an assurance that somewhere out there? A place not like this. A heartfelt virtual hug man and in my mission to uncover the real truth of life I will think on this and remember the name (interestingly I just got off the phone with an Apple tech by the same name just now. Also though Noah means rest and comfort. York my middle name means “Of the Yew trees” and these were named by the nords as “Yggdrasil for the world tree (its not an ash tree) but the transliteration of being “odins gallows” or “the gallows of the gods” (see the hanged man tarot) maybe somewhere amidst the cosmos and the way of kharmatic justice truth will infold and claim this perpetrator as the damnation of truth would have been one thing to own up if indeed such an evil was perpetuated. Im sorry friend. Justice will be terrific and horrible when “Truth” herself gets to town because man is she pissed. I will say a prayer of peaceful thoughts to a better place this is nonetheless a world of dreams and magic. How horrifyingly tragic. Thank god we have this band. Godspeed and… dont lose your faith in a greater plan despite this man and the horrors at such hands. Maybe you and I will see things the child was spared. Stay strong. We’ll get these bastards one day.

You should check out Alcest "Écailles De Lune: Part 1" if you have not heard it. Anathema "Internal Landscapes" is also a fantastic song. I think you could relate. It's about NDE's. I had a near death, too. I was 1-1/2. I was told I was run over and resucitated by my dad on the way to the ER, but I don't know anymore. My whole life, all I was lead to believe about my family was all a lie. I have left them behind. I cannot give my time on this earth to people who gaslight. Life is far too precious for that.

Never clicked faster before Edit: After the first listen in it sounds quite similar to the last Album "Arson" vibe vise if you want to call it so. Such as for the Melodies as for the actual drums. Looking forward though to see the Lyrics for the Album and hope to find some Pearl's of art as on their third Album "Trauma" which was in my opinion their far best work done even considering they didn't use a proper drummer on the record.
