Hey artosis, I've been watching you guys for the entire time, since 2009 I have been following broodwar and then sc2 as well. I've always had Korea as a bucket list for me to see you and tasteless cast live but I always pushed it back due to life obligations. But the fact I won't get to see you in person doesn't mean much considering all the nights I spent watching you guys. I've stayed up so many times in my life to watch you and tasteless and I've honestly loved the GSL show more then I knew. I'm not sure what will happen when you leave there but in the chance they don't want to have you back, I do want to say thanks for all the amazing times I had. You have truly given me nights of laughter, suspense and escape from a sometimes hectic life. The Twelve years glued to the same show has been great, you will find success anywhere you go but I am glad you chose my home country Canada. i really hope Afreeca TV takes the deal to make tastosis online happen, you 2 guys are by far the best and most enjoyable casters ever and the decade long chemistry between you too adds so much and is simply irreplacable. i think without tastosis the GSL foreign scene would take a very big dive.
@tigera62 жыл бұрын
How does that live casting work online? Artosis would have to be up around 3-5am at his place 2 days a week? I am fine with it but I am not sure if he want to do it that way.
@adpt_music2 жыл бұрын
@@tigera6 I believe the pitch is that it would work the same as the English Cast for ASL works right now. Afreeca provide Tastosis the VOD to cast over, Tastosis and their small production team would be funded via community support through a Patreon page.
@tigera62 жыл бұрын
@@adpt_musicThe thing is, I am pretty sure that Afreeca would want to do the English LIVE for GSL like how is has been. They canceled ASL cast and thats why they let Tastosis do it through the VOD in the first place. SC2 is still popular enough among international fanbase that Afreeca will likely to continue it. So if Tastosis want to do it like ASL, they will have to go AGAINST Afreeca production, which Afreeca will have none of it most likely.

watching live would be the same thing but without the stellar production value and the hillarious chat .. dont see why its worth spending thousands to get there to do it .. and the korean people/food arent really worth the trip either as they're notoriously racist and the food is like american bbq thats just made spicier .. with the exception of the spectacular bulgolgi which cant be replaced .. but it also easy enough to make at home.

During Tasteless' stream last night Tasteless didn't want to stream with anyone else other than Artosis and said the viewers probably didn't want that either; so basically it's GSL with tastosis or none at all rn. He also said he knew Arty was planning on moving out of Korea like a year ago from now so it's been a long time in the making already.
@tigera62 жыл бұрын
@@anonamos701 I dont know how that would work though. Even if GSL allow them to do English cast LIVE online, that means Artorsis will have to be up at 3-5am his time zone twice a week during the GSL. That would really mess up his life schedule and all that. But if they think about doing the English cast on VOD, like ASL, its not as good production, plus the delay and spoiler would just kill all the hype. So its good that Tasteless taking up his side next to Artorsis, but as a viewer, I would prefer the Live English GSL cast no matter what. If that means we have two new caster, then so be it.

@@tigera6 Tasteless said GSL English just won't be live anymore, it'll be like ASL uploads with translations and editing. But in the end, that's still up to afreecaTV so if they decide to get 2 new EN casters then that's that unfortunately, yea. They have til October to figure it all out so as viewers, we don't exactly get much input than what we're given unfortunately. Your interactions with guy in chat has been funny as hell, so entertainment is guaranteed haha. Thanks for all these years covering the Korean scene for us who can't speak it. E-sports and Starcraft would have not been the same had you guys not gone over, truly a S tier NA terran.

I appreciate all the work you've done for the community, RT. i grew up playing brood war with my closest friends and now have my first child. It changes everything! Where you are headed in Canada seems like a beautiful place to raise a family. I wish you nothing but the best in the future and am excited to keep watching your stream. AYAYA.

Welcome to Canada. I just got back to watching Starcraft after long pause. I use to play Starcraft a lot and your fun broadcasting brought it back good memory. PEI is beautiful, if you ever come back to Ontario, hit me up!

Thanks so much for putting this out, am very happy to hear it is not the end of Tastosis as you guys are the sole reason I got into starcraft (keep up the laughter and banter). Hope the move goes well and all the adjustments go as smoothly as they can!

Thank you for casting for so many years. I have been watching the GSL streams since the open seasons. Listening to you and Tasteless brightened up my day every time. Thank you for normalising "nerd" culture and having so much fun with it. Good luck in Canada.

I first started watching StarCraft2 back in 2013. Almost every night since then I have fallen asleep to the sound of Artosis and Tasteless. Just listening to them talk and banter easily put me to sleep. No matter where I went and slept for the evening I always had them right by my ear to help me sleep. Thank you for a wonderful 9 years. It's hard to believe it's been 9 years since I started watching StarCraft2 and watching you. You are hands down the most insightful caster. Your humor also had me dying with laughter 😄 Best of luck in your next endeavor. You're gonna be great no matter what you do! ❤️

As someone who was an avid SC1 player, I played SC2 very briefly. Years later I was curious and started watching GSL/ WCS on youtube. For the past bunch of years, even though I don't even play I have followed the Starcraft scene because your casts got me interested back then. I truly, truly hope to continue to be able to see english streams of GSL with you. If not I will watch them with Tasteless. I will also continue to follow Starcraft, be it ESL or GSL or whatever comes next; hopefully with you casting some of it. I look forward to watching whatever you do and good luck in PEI. Maritmes for life.

Not sure you read all these but I remember as a kid I got try out my brother starcraft copy, and found out they had just released a sequel. I waited for my internet to load 20 minute clips of you guys casting SC2 for hours so I can watch it in high definition. You have been a huge part of my online entertainment and I hope to see more of your content for as long as you make it!

PEI is such an amazing place, you and your wife's family was smart to move there. Make sure to have some Cow's Ice Cream and try to make it to North Cape; one of my favorite parts of the island.
