We all know Artosis managed to play the game for 30 years without learning 1% of what anyone else would have learned in the same time frame (he's somehow immune to improvement), but this is truly next level. I play an amateur sport, and our club is full of people who have been sucking at their favorite game for 30+ years, and they are typically salty AF when they lose, but if someone of that MMR shows up (2700 is about national or even international level in a real life sport) I can't imagine there would be a single person upset after such loss. They'd be excited and grateful for the opportunity to play such high-level player. But Artosis somehow manages to present himself from the worst possible side here, too. Incredible.

Artosis is a top of the line analyst & caster of the game and he knows all the tricks and timings, but execution is completely different. I feel like every time I watch him play, he's in constant denial in the second half of every game he loses.

its funny because if artosis actually believes what he is saying, he will never reach above 2400 in his mind (actual 2100-2200). part of being good is doing unexpected shit by reading the opponent and risk-reward. and as you said against lower rated players they can be even more loose.
