Been playing Starcraft I for abt. 23 years non-profesionally - and loved this match. As much as Artosis is a genius in the game, he has also "muscle-memoried" several shortcomings into his play style (ie, gotten used to making certain mistakes), at least in my opinion - one is being supply-blocked very often, and second is not reparing his units (arguable, but more cost-efficient than making new ones, of course, more micro-heavy) - sure, the speed and momentum and... what was No. 3? Rage? Violence? Brutality? - are all impressive. Good luck in Canada - and greetings from the glorious country of Latvia.

i almost gave up on you arti, it was looking grim for a bit there. im really surprised he didnt recall the main more to camp production etc. your perseverance level is unmatched . i saw the fire in your belly light as he dropped insults. your determination renewed, you started playing hard. what started as just a twinkle in your eye, eventually became a full on immovable defensive terran MOUNTAIN of defense. you are the bonjwa of persevering versus protoss cheesers.

Funny how he is in S with turtling the shit out in every game when he doesnt bunker cheese. In SC2 you go up to goldV at max by turtling without any kind of multitasking or micro like Arty does. Arty doesnt get it why he always gets arbiter recalled, because that's and carriers are the answers against turtling terrans.

I mean arty is mad the guy kept recalling, and yes that's annoying. But he also only used maybe 1/3 of his maxed out 3/3 army to deal with it, and really sent more units than were needed to deal with the recalls. I don't think I saw him use his whole army once. If he sent some of those 3/3 tanks and vultures that were just standing around not doing anything he could have probably A moved into the toss main base ending the game a lot sooner.

To be fair, I don't blame arty on this one. I feel most Terrans would kind of do the same then him, as it would be scary to attack into a Protoss that keeps recalling and A moving his units every second. Also, this Protoss may hold the world record for the most recalls in any StarCraft 1 match. I'm surprised he even had enough Arbiters and energy for the recalls to do so many

@@thefierycharmeleon164 Oh for sure, I'm just making the observation that the protoss had ample time to sit back and produce a lot of units (and all those archons near the end had to take a lot of time.) while arty was dealing with the pressure from the recalls. Multi tasking to put pressure and keep the protoss army at home or make them think twice about going crossmap with a good majority of their army is a viable play there. That and knowing how many units are needed to take care of a drop are something that lots of higher tier players are able to do. But yeah good job on arty for holding strong and winning the game. I don't catch a lot of his streams so youtube is where I see all his matches. So from what I've seen it seems like he sits back a lot allowing the other player to do whatever they want and he struggles to utilize his units to their potential to gain map control. It's a thing he could work on to rank up and become more consistent. Not saying I'm better than him by any means.
