Obligatory anti spoilers statement. Before the match I predicted Light would win. And my prediction turned out to be correct! I was expecting some solid but slightly unorthodox play from him, and those late mutas while droning up definitely put Light way ahead in the mid game, and made all the difference with being able to fend off the dropships and continue snowballing. Very solid play from both, just unlucky on Queens part. Would love to see this again at some point!

Dont understand why the pro's don't spend a few more seconds repairing the science vessels, it doesn't cost much, negates the plague except for losing time, but you do get to save more energy and can cast more irradietes or defense matrixes for very little risk. But I'm no pro gamer, not saying they are playing wrong, I just don't understand the lack of repair on science vessels or even battlecruisers/tanks.

Okay Light is cracked. That was a really interesting game. It might be like you’re not as familiar with microing Mutas, so you don’t necessarily want to go harass with them early. But you’re in a great spot to use them for scouting, and to defend/clean up drops later. That was a really cool style of Zerg play

Light literally has the highest winrate on eloboard for most months, every pro korean picks him for team leagues as the 1st pick. He has nerves offline but still has an asl championship.

At the end of the day, results in tournament mean more than eloboard. Light is incredibly inconsistent in tournament settings, so even if he is the best, it's difficult for someone like him to ever live up to players who make it to ro4 on a consistent basis. Even on artosiscasts... most light games he casts are light losing, often times to players magnitudes below how high artosis hypes him. Having an ASL championship under his belt is no small feat, and is a huge accomplishment - but compare that to other terrans such as JyJ, Rush, Sharp, heck even Mind has more consistent ro8/4 placements than Light. If you were to tell me Light is the smartest terran, and maybe the best terran coach, I'd believe it. But I think his decision making, ability to keep calm under pressure, and consistency are clearly lacking and disqualify him from the 'best terran' position. I know quite well he's a very good player - I just think artosis oversells him, and there are other more modern terrans performing at a higher and more consistent level.
