I love the zoom out to show the muta's sharking about around 9:00. That gave me such a good look at them trying to find a way in. Love this feature of remastered and hope you use it more often.

Great game! Something for Yoo-n, something for Qmee-n =) I don't think we did find that infected shuttle (definitely primary target, secondary would be corsair imo), toggling to zerg's player view would make finding where to box select quicker in the future. When people realize it forces the burden of a significant, multi-response decision that only has downside, I think we'll start seeing a queen anytime a zerg plays ZvP or ZvZ, especially on island maps.

Those templar drops were sick. I actually didn't even know there was a counter at all till you pointed it out. I usually get annoyed the player names are sometimes random throwaway accounts like IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII or something so I stopped looking at UI.

I wonder when it becomes worthwhile to get shields instead of armor. Usually armor is better, because the hydras and lings will be hitting hull a lot more than shields (since units have more HP than shields, have base armor, and zealots reduce explosive damage to HP by half). So you get a lot more damage reduction via armor upgrades. They're also cheaper: 175/175 for armor lvl 2 vs 200/200 for shields lvl 1. I assume shield upgrades only make more sense if you have a significant air force, or a ton of archons, or if for some reason you really need to level up your cannons, or some combination of the three. But none of that really applied this game, so shields over armor seems weird.

In terms of map tactics, it felt weird that neither P nor Z destroyed the assimilators to the Z main after the Z expo was breached. (E.g. P had opportunities to do so at 16:15 and 22:30.) Surely leaving the assimilator route open favors one player, so the other player should shut off this route?

Scouts would totally be the Guardian counter, if the (1) didn't need an expensive upgrade to outrun Scourge (2) that upgrade didn't need a super expensive building to make (3) Scouts themselves weren't super expensive

D Web is criminally under used on island maps like Troy! Had Dewalt researched it before doom dropping an island base, it would have been a fairly easy win.

Parasite Archons seems like a good move. Protoss have just 2 options to counter the parasite, send the unit away from the army or kill it. A less valuable unit, like a zelot, yeah, just kill it, or send it away..... but, will you kill an archon? ... it's too critical of a unit, and protoss absolutely want that unit in the army. Seems like protoss either lose a very powerful unity in this matchup, or reveals it's army position at all times..... though call.

Gg Spoilers. This is the sort of game that leads me to thinking hyper upgrade 3 nexus rush with templar dark and light spam, SHOULD be a part of the Protoss tool kit. Lots of the earlymid-mid-midlate phase of the game spent waffling and dithering around.

Man. tough lose for Dewalt. would be cool to see d-web + carriers if the zerg made a bunch of islands. dark swarm? who cares. hydras can't shoot. kill all the buildings and move on. That's a big investment i guess. I wonder why Dewalt didn't take the island to the west of his main and the 12:00 then you can kind of float there and defend drops maybe. I dunno. I play terran so not my favourite map. TvP cross spawn 2 gate=auto lose.

I'm still surprised there isn't an ai that can trash most players. Just by virtue of not needing to split it's attention span I'd think a bot would have a decent advantage, like look at stockfish with chess, it's already beyond any human players abilities and that's without any machine learning cuz it got beaten down by the ML algorithms.

Dark archon? For what maelstrom? It's100 energy, so you only get like 2 the whole game. It's better to just get 5 or so sairs and you can continuously use them the whole game for scouting and catching overlords and zoning.

@@ObeliskM Yeah... I think getting an additional 3-4 sairs was the right call for dewalt. You can continuously use them to scout and kill overlords too. Cuz like if the Gaurds are spread out you waste literally 2 dts worth, plus the upgrade for maelstrom, plus at max you can only cast it twice. The reason why vs Muta it's so good is because they CLUMP up. Gaurdians Do not clump up :)
