This is the sword that took me the longest to make, all the detailed patterns are meticulously made little by little. I have great love for this sword, it is the great challenge I went through in sword making. Hope it will satisfy the demanding audience!

I'm torn between wanting to hang it on my wall as an art piece and respecting swords as weapons and wanting it for fencing

Looks far too heavy to effectively fence with, but it would be cool.

Wanting it for fencing?! Its pretty, but it is a fantasy piece This thing, though made with undeniable artistic ability is way too heavy to be effective. Someone with a south American jungle machete could take anyone with this boat anchor. Hell, a sharpened car antenna would be better, or a table leg.

Hell yes! Keith and Harvey trying to punch each other to death with sabers is absolutely amazing! The most realistic sword fights put to screen aside from "the Deluge". The ending alone with Harvey wandering defeated and alone with Keiths voice over instructing him to regard him as a dead man would is beyond perfect. Ridley Scott is one of the most talented directors of all time.

I love watching how they make knives and swords the new modern way. But just once, I love to see how they made a sword from the days when no drill, gringer, today's tools are used, more the old traditional way. Are there anyone around who can do it. I know that takes time maybe months, but that would be cool don't you think so??

A beautiful sword, not just fit for a king but fit for a hero. If I had one tiny criticism it's that it needed a cage to extend down to the handle and protect the hand, which was kind of standard in swords of that nature.
@notfeedynotlazy
@notfeedynotlazy 5 ай бұрын
Standard it was indeed. As it was little details like being hardened and tempered, or not having a screw-on pommel on a rat-tang handle, or being actually sharpened... You realize this is a sword-shaped obect intended only for looks and not for combat, right?

maybe its because the hammer is acting up a little in the video, but i couldnt imagine having that power hammer and doing absolutely no work with it. FANTASTIC blade, but work those hammers man! you spend a TON of time hammering on this chunk of steel to ultimately do a 5160 stock removal sword in the end. i cant stress enough, its an awesome awesome blade, but you'll save a ton of time and a ton of money in 36 grit shredder belts by forging that blade! you can do it!
