I subbed you for simply having a rusty saw. The work, the engraving, the moulding and overall creation, incredible. The saw, fantastic. I dislike the sterile clean workshop that is there for simping only. Muck and metal go together it's only the final piece that should shine a bit....thanks for having a rusty saw.

I really like it! I will say for future, to not make a square corner where the tang meets the blade. It is a natural stress point and a good spot for it to break in the future. Rounding it will help relieve that stress point. But great job!

You know that we can see that you started with a 4mm thick rough cut mild steel bar. Then, it ended with a 2mm thick uniformed high carbon template. It just looks like a swap out, dude. You forget you would form cracks with that draw out if it was high carbon.

Maybe you were confused. That steel bar is 7mm thick and the forged blade is 5.5mm thick

If the metal is not hot enough to be red you shouldn't hammer it,
@profepik7525Ай бұрын
Sorry but this is bad work. You hammer the metal when it's too cold (red-black) wich will cause unvisible micro-fractures. Hit something hard and the sword will break ! Always make your steel hot enough, yellow-orange, before working it !
@Arts-and-CraftsАй бұрын
It's still very hot so it won't create the crack you might think. But anyway, thank you for your opinion!
