sorry you feel that way. As someone who was in the room that night I can assure you it is, indeed, solo voice and percussion by Hamid. The room is boomy -- a loft apartment, but that recording is all Hamid.

@@ArtsforArt no need to be sorry. Look, im just saying that since this man ( african or carib, which is quite unusual on frame drums and this is intetesting), is playing a Cooperman drum made in Vermont, it must be cleared that ( technically only) some top musicians like Glen Velez, Yshay Aftermann, Zonar Fresco, David Kukhermann, have reached incredible peaks of talent in ideas speed, slow mood, tones, rolls, snapping, mood, volume modulation and much more. Probably for those who like this video, these musicians would appear unintetesting. To my opinion, this man is acting more like some sort of medicine man or mystical something using that noble drum only to underline yhe chant with a very simple pattern and tapping( see the upper hand). That said any form.of expression is ok. Simply, since i have tried to learn this drum.seriously i cant only appreciate the shaman vibe🎆

@@ArtsforArt i add that i have checked who he is, and suprisingly, since i know a thing or two about electric jass and so on...i must admit i didnt know him. Suppose hes a great jazz drummer then. I stll dont like him.on the frame drum. But im sure noone will have headaches for my humble opinion
